Born in Singapore in 1970 and graduated from Singapore Polytechnic with a Diploma in Electronics Engineering in 1990. A self-taught photographer, he got his first taste of digital photography with a camera received from a X’mas gift exchange back in 2002. As they say, the rest is history and he has been a professional photographer since 2007.
He is interested in capturing the beauty that exists in daily life, shifting through the humdrum of society’s daily routine for the ‘decisive’ moment. Making images that elevate its subject or context from the mundane to the extraordinary, thus imparting new life and significance to the subject. He prefer to exhaust a subject that others might find ordinary or uninspiring, very often utilizing layers and juxtaposing images to create beautifully composed artworks with a painterly eye.

The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore - A bespoked series of 18 works are in private art collections of the luxury 5 star hotel. They are permanently displayed in the hotel’s lobby lounge and guest corridor areas. The black and white series depicts the heritage hotel and its civic art district in my distinctive composite layering style.
